Speed Black n' Roll

Grenoble

The Band

Genesis

Crypt appeared in 2026, amidst the fog and scented with the ashes of Takedöwn, the former project of Alex Renegade, the Architect of this new macabre mausoleum.

From that ruin, four musicians emerged, drawn together by riffs, noise, and a common taste for the darker roots of the craft.

Thus was the Crypt opened.

And from its depths came forth the sound that had lain buried within.

Foul, fast and unholy, a Black N’ Roll forged in the old fires of Speed Metal, with little regard for what ought to remain dead.

The Sound

Built upon the ancient foundations of Speed Metal and Black N’ Roll, Crypt deals in fast riffs, filthy rock’n’roll and the sort of noise that tends to attract the wrong kind of company.

Those familiar with Venom, Midnight, Hellripper, Gehenna and Chapel may find themselves upon familiar ground — though the road grows somewhat darker the further one wanders.

First Signs

The first public appearance of Crypt shall take place in Grenoble, December 2026, where its dark legends shall first be heard.

On that very occasion, the first demo shall be released upon tape, entrusted to those few wise enough to take it home.

The first relics of the Crypt now leaves its resting place.

The Prophecy

It is said that the music may be summoned once more by those sufficiently bold — or foolish — to perform the proper rite.

The words are not known to all, nor is the hour at which they ought to be spoken. Still, those who know the incantation may yet hear the Crypt answer.

And should the old tales be believed, some have gone further still. A select few claim to have spoken with the four themselves.
